—Charlottesville Police Chief RaShall Brackney, at a press conference after the President of the United States made an emphatic public statement that there were “good people on both sides”. The event was the so-called “Unite the Right” rally of White supremacists, Neo-Nazis, and “alt-right” activists in Charlottesville, Virginia, on August 11-12, 2017, in which counter-protesters were physically attacked, causing injuries and one death.
